The candidates with graduation (10+2+3) having minimum 50% marks in any stream either in Bachelor's degree are eligible for admission to the program. Relaxation of marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories as per the rules of State Govt. / University concerned.

Eligibility Criteria :

The candidates with graduation (10+2+3) having minimum 50% marks in any stream either in Bachelor's degree or in Master's Degree are eligible for admission to the program. Relaxation of marks will be given for candidates belonging to SC / ST categories as per the rules of NCTE / State Govt. / University concerned. Admission will be made through counseling by CET.

A candidate for the degree of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) must have passed a Bachelor's degree examination of this University or a corresponding degreeexamination of any other University recognised as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate at the Bachelor's degree examination and must have offered subjects relating to secondary/Higher Secondary level as per the requirements laid down by the State Government in that regard. Relaxation of the minimum percentage of marks at the Bachelor's degree examination for candidates from Reserved Categories and serving teachers will be as per State Government rules made from time to time in that respect.In addition the candidate must have subsequent to his passing the Bachelor's degree examination.Kept two terms for the full-time B.Ed. and four terms for part-time B.Ed. course seperated ovr a maximum period of two and four consecutive years respectively in a college of education.


Completed a course of practical work extending over two terms for the Full-time course and four terms for the Part-time course to the satisfaction of the Head of the Institution in which the candidate is studying consisting of :
(a) Attendance at Demonstration lessons.
(b) Teaching practice of not less than 25 lessons distributed over different standards from Vth to XIIth of recognised Secondary and Higher Secondary School selected by the Principal as Practising school. In addition to these 25 lessons there will be five compulsory micro teaching lessons.Candidates who are eligible to teach Std.XIth and XIIth may be permitted to opt for both the special methods upto XIIth Std.
(c) Observation of Teaching as directed.
(d) Intenship of at least sixteen week duration.
(e) (i) One of the work experience projects of given Syllabus.
(ii) Participation / Organisation of co-curricular activities.
(iii) Chalk Board work, Audio-visual Education, PPT Presentation.
